Less than an hour’s drive away from home, Lancelin is an iconic spot to explore the WA coast and soak up the sun, surf and sand dunes. Cervantes
The gateway to Western Australia’s Pinnacles Desert, Cervantes is the beginning of Australia’s Coral Coast region. An hour and half drive will have you arriving at tranquil waters, sandy beaches and marine life, and have you feeling relaxed and zen in no time.  There is a huge list of things to do and see at Cervantes but we think the Pinnacles should be at the top of your list!

Located in the heart of the Nambung National Park, the Pinnacles Desert is one of Australia’s most unique landscapes, featuring thousands of limestone spires, some up to 12 metres tall. Explore the desert on a four-kilometre driving trail or stroll through at your own pace on the 1.2 kilometre walking trail. Toodyay
For a day out rich in history and culture, head North East to Toodyay. Located in the picturesque Avon Valley region, this country town is filled with boutique shops, a variety of cafes and pubs, the Avon River, walking tracks, local animals and lots of sights to see such as the museum and heritage walk. During wildflower season (August – November) see if you can find pink everlastings and a variety or orchids, soak up some history and heritage to learn about the fascinating artefacts and stories of convicts, war heroes and more and end the day with a delicious pub lunch or coffee at one of the charming cafes.
