When the mercury drops, Winter dates often revolve snuggling up in front of the TV with a revolving door of Netflix shows and sweet treats. While the chill in the air makes us want to hide away and hibernate until the Spring sunshine returns, in doing so we miss out on many exciting things that are happening outdoors!

Lucky for you, we have put together a failsafe Winter dating guide to survive a Jindowie Winter.

Visit Yanchep Inn

Nothing says Winter quite like good food in front of a cosy fire. Pay a visit to the Yanchep Inn, less than a 10-minute drive from home. Their wild mushroom and goat cheese pasta is the perfect dinner to enjoy by a crackling fire.

Watch a Sunset at The Lagoon

Winter is the perfect time to catch a romantic sunset at Yanchep Lagoon as the colder weather keeps the crowds at bay. Even better, the sun sets early so you can watch the sun go down then head home for a nice home cooked dinner. Perfect!

Stay in Games Night

If you are a Kidult at heart (it’s a thing), then inviting a couple of friends over for a game’s night is the perfect Saturday night in! Whip out your favourite board games, warm up your charade skills and pour a glass of wine or 2 and enjoy getting competitive with your friends!

Picnic in the Park

Make the most of a sunny Winter weekend and explore Yanchep National Park. Pack a rug, your favourite treats and a flask of hot chocolate and spend the afternoon soaking up the Winter rays. We suggest planning your picnic for late afternoon and you might get a visit from the local kangaroos.

We’d love to know what your go-to dates spots in and around Jindowie are! If you can see a future for you or your family at Jindowie, feel free to get in touch with our team who would love to chat to you about available house and land packages.
