Perth’s Outback Splash 

Perth’s Outback Splash is the place to go if you’re searching for something unique with a cool splash. There are many family-friendly activities available within 35 minutes from Jindowie. These consist of an animal farm, four slides, mini golf, and mazes. In the summer, the hours are 10 am to 5 pm, and during school breaks, they are open every day.

Crystal Caves Yanchep 

 A quick 10 minute drive will take you to the ‘jewelled city’ caves in Yanchep. The cave is one of 400 caves in Western Australia open to the public.  Learn about the ongoing geological processes of the stalactites, stalagmites and helictites. The operating hours are Monday through Sunday, 10 am to 3 pm, and reservations must be made online in advance.

Aborignal Experience Tour 

Located in the beautiful Yanchep National Park  and a short seven-minute drive from your home in Jindowie, which includes mini golf, koalas and many other activities. The Aboriginal Experience session in Wangi Mia Meeting place is a 45-minute tour that teaches about local Noongar culture. The importance of the didgeridoo,  plants, animals, to the original custodians of the land. The tours are only available on Sundays and public holidays making it the perfect day trip to wrap up your week. 

Lancelin 

Just a 55 minutes drive from Jindowie, you’ll find the seaside town of Lancelin. Famous for its mighty sand dunes, it’s a must-visit when planning a day trip. From sandboarding,  canoeing, windsurfing, fishing  to snorkelling and swimming, there’s so much fun to be had. Lancelin has a range of cafes and pubs, supermarkets and accommodation to choose from.
